The Benson Hotel in downtown Portland. For nearly
50 years, this award-winning restaurant has been
a well-known fixture in the Northwest's restaurant
scene. Using only the finest ingredients, the menu
features both traditional favorites and bold, innovative
creations.

The London Grill also boasts
one of the most extensive wine lists in the Northwest,
with more than 6,000 bottles and awarded Wine Spectator's
2006 Best of Award of Excellence.
Over the past 50 years, the London Grill has become
known for its table-side dining and numerous specialty
dishes, including Dungeness crab cakes with roasted
red pepper sauce and cilantro, dill-cured salmon
served with cucumber and red onion salad, roasted
rack of lamb, and the local breakfast favorite,
Eggs Benedict.
The London Grill's new executive
chef has dedicated decades to creating award-winning
cuisine. His impressive list of culinary awards
continues in the tradition of Chef Emeritus, Xavier
Bauser, who has personally prepared elegant meals
for famous celebrities and every U.S. president
since Richard Nixon. The Benson culinary team has
collected Gold, Silver and Bronze medals in international
culinary Olympic competitions.
The London Grill Features three private dining
rooms for parties, rehearsal dinners, family reunions,
business luncheons and romantic dinners.

The new Palm Court is
the Benson’s timeless classic lobby
restaurant and lounge. Your senses will be
transported to a better time with a full
complement of classic cocktails and soon-to-be
classics, like the signature Benson Bubbler
Champagne Cocktail. This newly renovated
space is vibrant, cozy and comfortable, much
like the lobby of this grand hotel, with
a new degree of intimacy and privacy.
Palm Court features lunch and dinner daily.
Monday through Friday from 11:00 am – 2:00
pm, enjoy a Prime Rib Buffet or our Soup
and Salad Bar, plus a full range of comfort
food ranging from hot sandwiches to fresh
trout seviche. The
rich wood trim glistens from the flood of
natural daylight that flows through the new
leaded, beveled glazed window treatments.
The ambiance is second to none for comfort
and atmosphere, offering a warm environment
for drinks, food and conversation.
As day turns to night, The Palm Court features
the city's best musicians “live” Tuesday
- Saturday nights. A late night menu is also
available offering Flame Broiled Steaks, The
Palm Burger or Cedar Wrapped Spring Salmon
to name a few. The new menu is available
from 5:00 pm until midnight weekdays and 1:00
am weekends. |

inspired steakhouse, located directly next
to The Benson Hotel. Tableside preparations
like Chateaubriand and Bananas Foster are paired
